Q1. I would like to know where you live. Which is your favorite room at home? What does it look like? What do you mostly do there?

1. I live in a high-rise apartment.
2. It's located in suwon.
3. I have lived here for 20 years.
4. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
5. And there is a living room, a kitchen, and a balcony.
6. There are various types of furniture and home appliances in the living room.
7. When you enter the living room in my house, you'll feel a cozy atmosphere.
8. So, my favorite room in my house is the living room.
9. The best thing about the living room is that I can relax there.
10. I use my smartphone a lot  when I'm relaxing in the living room.
11. I usually watch clips, do online shopping, listen to music on my smartphone.
12. It makes me feel really comfy and relaxed.

Q2. Now, tell me about the things that you do at home. What are some parts of your daily routine? What is special about each activity?

1. Every morning, when I wake up, I do some light stretching and drink a glass of water for my health.
2. Then, I go to the bathroom to brush my teeth, wash my face, and get a shampoo to wash my hair.
3. After drying my hair, I get ready for work.
4. I have breakfast at the office and drink a cup of coffee after arriving at work.
5. After work, I take a shower to wash away the fatigue of the work.
6. I sometimes spend the evening enjoying a glass of beer or wine with my wife.

Q3. Tell me about a change you made to your home. What was the change and why did you make that change? How did your home look afterwards? GIve me some details.

1. I have renovated my house before.
2. We redid the wallpaper, the floors, and the bathroom because they were too old.
3. They looked so messy, but they look much better and cleaner than before.
4. I was really surprised because they made me feel like I moved to another place.
5. Also, we bought a new bed and a sofa.
6. Since ours were so old, we had to change them.
7. We bought new ones and they were so comfortable.
8. Now, our house looks brand new.
9. I was really happy with the new look.
10. I could sleep well because of the new changes. Anyway, that's it.

Q4. Tell me about how you usually clean your house. How often do you clean? What is your favorite part of cleaning the house?

1. I usually clean my house on weekends.
2. Every weekday, I just tidy up the living room.
3. But on weekends, I clean each room in my house, the bathroom, the balcony, and the hallway.
4. My favorite part of cleaning happens after vacuuming.
5. After I wipe everything down with a wet cloth, it looks spotless.
6. Lastly, wiping down the dust on the desk or dining table with alcohol wipes makes me feel even better.

Q5. Tell me about the house or apartment you lived in when you were a child. How was it different from the one you live in now?

1. When  I was a child, I lived in a three-story apartment with two-bedrooms and one bathroom.
2. There was a small playground in front of the apartment, I used to play with my friends.  
3. I played hide-and-seek, and rode on a swing and a seesaw.
4. But now, I live in a high-rise apartment.
5. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms and there is a big park in front of my apartment.
6. So I usually go there to take a walk with my puppy.
7. Also, I can work out there as well.
8. Plus, I also enjoy going on picnics sometimes on a weekend with my family.
9. As u can see, things I did at my old house and at my current apartment are different.

Q6. Talk about the problems people have when they rent a house or an apartment. Why do those problems occur and how do people solve those problems?

 

1. When people rent a house or an apartment, they can face a variety of problems like maintenance and repairs, security deposit, rental fee increases and noisy neighbors.
2. These issues often come from miscommunications between landlords and residents, different expectations on a nwe house, or legal complexities.
3. To solve such problems, it's essential to thoroughly review the lease agreement before signing up in advance.
4. But there are some difficult problems to solve. The first step is to have open communication and resolve them peacefully.
5. If it still doesn't work, getting legal advice from the professionals is necessary to solve those kinds of matters.

Q7. What are the causes of the housing shortage in your community? Tell me some issues that people talk about related to the housing shortage.

 

1. The causes of the housing shortage in our community are influenced by high demands in urban areas, rising property prices, limited land availability, speculative investments in real estates, aging population, household change, and etc.
2. People are really sad because of rising housing prices caused by the housing shortage.
3. It's almost impossible to buy a home even after working for 10 years diligently.
4. In this economic situation, the ratio of YOLO and DINK is increasing among the younger generation, which is accelerating the aging population and causing various problems.
